Stephen Ploof represented the buyer of 1220 South Ocean Boulevard this week. The home, built on speculation in 2011, was the subject of two foreclosure lawsuits but the title was transferred clean. This sale marks the second highest price paid for a lakefront home in Palm Beach and the highest price paid for a South End lakefront home that doesn't extend to the ocean.
The French-inspired, 27,000 square foot home sits on 2.5 acres and has 200 feet of waterfront. The home features a grand kitchen, 9 bedrooms -- one of which is a 4,000 square foot master suite, ten full bathrooms, and eight half baths.
